Fault Line Earrings

These one-of-a-kind drop earrings were created as part of a limited edition group of seven. Inspired by the power of natural forces and changing landscapes, the Fault Line Earrings are hand-fabricated in sterling silver and are a sophisticated, unique design for every day. A beveled oxidized silver octagon shape was created, cut in half, shifted askew and soldered back together with gold solder, highlighting the shift*. Adding a unique and delicate touch, a smaller version of the shape hangs suspended below. These unique earrings elevate any look to luxurious heights.

*The use of gold in these earrings is inspired by Kintsugi, a time-honored Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with a lacquer dusted with gold powder; This type of repair honors the item's unique history by highlighting the breaks, cracks and imperfections rather than trying to disguise and forget them.
